Paul Burton is the Founder and Managing Principal of Burton Advisory. He earned his J.D. and MBA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has more than 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry. Since founding B.A. in 2017, Paul has worked as CEO of ResQ Pharma, is currently CEO of Akan Biosciences, and is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Northwestern University. Paul is a former investment banker, having started his career in corporate finance at Salomon Brothers Investment Bank in 1998. Paul is also a former U.S. Regular Army Commissioned Officer (Infantry).
